45 0 To the chief Musician upon aShoshannim, for the sons of Korah, 1Maschil, A Song bof loves.
1 MY heart 2is *inditing a cgood matter: I speak of the things which I have made touching dthe king: my tongue is the pen of ea ready writer.
2 Thou fart fairer than the children of men: ggrace is poured into thy lips: therefore God hath hblessed thee for ever.
3 *Gird thy isword upon thy thigh, O most jmighty, with thy kglory and thy majesty.
4 And in thy majesty 3ride prosperously because of truth and meekness and righteousness; and lthy right hand shall teach thee terrible things.
5 Thine marrows are sharp in the heart of the king's enemies; whereby the people fall under thee.
6 Thy nthrone, O God, is for ever and ever: the sceptre of thy kingdom is a right sceptre.
7 Thou olovest righteousness, and hatest wickedness: therefore God, pthy God, hath qanointed thee with the oil of gladness above thy fellows.
8 All rthy garments smell of smyrrh, and aloes, and cassia, out of the tivory palaces, whereby uthey have made thee glad.
9 vKings' daughters were among thy honourable women: upon thy right hand did stand wthe queen in xgold of Ophir.
10 yHearken, O daughter, and consider, and incline thine ear; zforget also thine own people, and thy father's house;
11 So ashall the king greatly desire thy beauty: for he is bthy Lord; and worship thou him.
12 And cthe daughter of Tyre shall be there with da gift; even the erich among the people shall intreat thy 4favour.
13 The fking's daughter is gall glorious within: hher clothing is of wrought gold.
14 She ishall be brought unto the king jin *raiment of needlework: the kvirgins her companions that follow her shall be brought unto thee.
15 With lgladness and rejoicing shall they be brought: they shall enter into the king's palace.
16 mInstead of thy fathers shall be thy children, whom thou mayest make princes in all the earth.
17 I nwill make thy name to be remembered in all generations: therefore shall the people praise thee for ever and ever.
