Psalms 14
Psalms
1David describeth the general corruption of mankind. 7He wisheth to see the salvation of God.
14 0 To the chief Musician, A Psalm of David.
1 THE fool ahath said in his heart, There is no God. bThey are corrupt, they have done abominable works, there is none that doeth good.
2 The cLORD looked down from heaven upon the children of men, to see if there were any that did understand, and seek God.
3 They are all dgone aside, they are all together become 1filthy: there is enone that doeth good, no, not one.
4 fHave all the workers of iniquity gno knowledge? who heat up my people as they eat bread, and call not upon the LORD.
5 iThere 2were they in great fear: for jGod is in the generation of the righteous.
6 Ye have kshamed the counsel of the poor, because the LORD is his refuge.
7 3Oh that the lsalvation of Israel were come out of Zion! when the LORD mbringeth back the captivity of his people, Jacob shall rejoice, and Israel shall be glad.
